POLICE EXERCISE NET $.4M IN COCAINE
Police exercises in the Western Division at the weekend led to the seizure of more than $400,00 in cocaine. The officers went to Union Road, Four Roads, where they conducted several Stop and Search exercises. While searching the forested areas along the roadway, police dogs from the Canine Unit began reacting in a manner indicating narcotics were in the vicinity.
A search was conducted and a short distance into a forested area, the officers found and seized 1.5566kg of cocaine and 225g of marijuana which were wrapped in plastic bags.
